Pampisford Neighbourhood Plan was made on 22 May 2025.
The Pampisford Neighbourhood Plan as made now forms part of the development plan for South Cambridgeshire. All planning decisions in the area will need to comply with the development plan (that now includes the Neighbourhood Plan), unless material considerations indicate otherwise.

Neighbourhood area designated
On 29 March 2018 the Planning Portfolio Holder designated the Pampisford neighbourhood area.
Pre-submission public consultation (Regulation 14)
Pampisford Parish Council carried out a consultation on its pre-submission Neighbourhood Plan from 9 October to 19 November 2023.
Submission public consultation (Regulation 16)
Pampisford Parish Council submitted the Pampisford Neighbourhood Plan and supporting documents to South Cambridgeshire District Council on 21 June 2024.
We confirmed that the Neighbourhood Plan complies with all the relevant statutory requirements.
A public consultation on the submission version of the Neighbourhood Plan was carried out between 5 August and 30 September 2024.

Examination (Regulation 17)
Pampisford Neighbourhood Plan was submitted for examination on 15 October 2024. The independent examiner appointed to carry out the examination is Andrew Ashcroft.
On 21 October 2024, the examiner sent an Examination Arrangements Note to South Cambridgeshire District Council and Pampisford Parish Council.
On 25 October 2024, the examiner sent a Clarification Note to South Cambridgeshire District Council and Pampisford Parish Council. Pampisford Parish Council provided a response to the Examiner on 15 November 2024. The examiner completed his examination, and sent his final Examiner's report to South Cambridgeshire District Council on 6 January 2025.
Referendum stage
The referendum on the Pampisford Neighbourhood Plan took place on 8 April 2025.
Making the Neighbourhood Plan
